Our First Physical Meeting As a Proper School Unit RCYRUMC

Today ( 27th September, 2024, Friday) we held our first meeting after the formation of the RCYRUMC school unit through rigorous viva. Main objectives of today’s meeting:

•Introduction on Red Crescent and its fundamental principles.

•Award ceremony for the winners of the presentation competition on heatwave

Session:

We did our best to teach our youths the basic history and know-how of the Red Crescent and Red Cross societies and their activities, along with its 7 fundamental principles. The session also taught our youths about ICRC, IFRC, NRCS and BDRCS and about our founder, Sir Henry Dunant.

Award-giving:

The three placeholders (youths) were awarded by our teacher- in -charge Sanjoy Biswas for their outstanding power point presentations on “Heatwave”.

The Red Crescent Youth RUMC holds its prestige by forming this new school unit and intends to inspire all (in and out of the unit) for voluntary service, unity and empathy. We are inviting all students, teachers and even parents to take part in this movement fostering better communities and a sense of aid in times of dangers, calamities and accidents. Stay with us, help us and watch over us as we try our best to provide selfless service in times of need.
